The Importance of Cardiovascular Check-Ups

At CHI St. Vincent, we want to make sure you are taking care of yourself, especially during this time of COVID-19. Anthony Fletcher, M.D., a cardiologist with the CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic in Little Rock, explains the importance of cardiovascular check-ups.

Cardiovascular disease can be silent, or you may have early warning signs such as shortness of breath. Heart disease and stroke are the number one causes of death in the U.S., so Dr. Fletcher advises that regular check-ups are important for your health and well-being.

Sleep, eat well, exercise, monitor and get checked. "Realize that your health is the most important aspect of your existence, and it doesn't change whether the COVID virus is there or not," says Dr. Fletcher.
