This is an excellent time to develop sound eating habits as well as physical activity habits toward a healthier you!

Nutrition and fitness play such a significant role in the way our bodies function. The psychological and physical benefits of good nutrition and fitness are phenomenal. My motto is “be proactive, not inactive” every day."

Sounds simple…just eat right and exercise! However, it is not that easy. There is a new “Diet” out every day, as well as a new way to “exercise” and stay fit. There is an absolute need for support and guidance in the understanding of nutrition and fitness. The media overwhelms us with all its “fluff” when it comes to nutrition & fitness. One diet may indicate one certain food or another may emphasize not eating at all. Some ads focus on certain machines or some no exercise at all…rather take a pill!

Let’s break down this four letter word “diet” and look at two new acronyms that I try to use while motivating others to make behavioral changes.
