Ingredients:

Serves: Makes 1 cup

  • 1 medium ripe avocado, peeled and seed removed

  • ½ cup of low-fat, plain yogurt

  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 Tbsps lime juice

  • ½ tsp sea salt, optional


 

Method:

  1. Put all ingredients in a food processor and mix. Place in bowl and serve with vegetables. If you are a garlic lover, simply add a crushed clove.

Per 2 Tbsps with salt: 28 calories, 1g protein, 2g carbohydrate, 2g fat (0g sat, 1g mono), 1g fiber, 80mg sodium (without salt: 7mg sodium)

Since homemade dressings do not contain preservatives, they have a shorter life than store-bought dressings.These recipes will keep for about 1 week in the refrigerator, depending on the ingredients.
