North Hospital is a 60-bed facility located in Sherwood, Arkansas. We provide care for patients from all over Central Arkansas
In 2017, we announced plans to relocate the Arkansas Neurosciences Institute from the Infirmary in Little Rock to our North campus. In 2019, this vision became a reality when our neurosurgical teams completed intense preparations and began using the newly renovated intensive care units, surgical suites and other spaces.

Spread Love and Kindness by Adopting a Pet with CHI St. Vincent
Ready to discover the power of human kindness? CHI St. Vincent is inviting its Central Arkansas communities to spread the spirit of human kindness by welcoming a loveable rescue pet into their home. To make it easier, they’re partnering with the Sherwood Humane Society to sponsor Pet Adoption Days from Monday, June 27 through Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Sherwood Animal Shelter.
“Adopting a pet is about more than companionship. It’s about sharing your heart, your home and the spirit of human kindness,” said CHI St. Vincent CEO Chad Aduddell. “We and the Sherwood Humane Society look forward to sharing that kindness with others across our community.”
Research has shown that pets can provide a wide range of health benefits, including:
- reduced stress and anxiety,
- easing loneliness,
- encouraging exercise,
- improved cardiovascular health,
- lower blood pressure,
- and a spirit of playfulness,
CHI St. Vincent will cover the adoption fee for everyone who adopts a pet at the Sherwood Animal Shelter between June 27 – July 1. They will also receive a free CHI St. Vincent leash and be entered to win a grand prize that will be announced on July 1.
The pet adoption sponsorship is part of CHI St. Vincent’s healing ministry and efforts to improve the physical, mental and spiritual well being of the communities it serves.
