Who should attend?

Consider if you have any of these symptoms:

  • Swelling, pain or a bulge in your belly or groin
  • Pain when bending over, coughing or lifting
  • Weakness or pressure in your abdomen after pregnancy or surgery
  • Acid reflux, chest pain or difficulty swallowing

These are common symptoms of a hernia, which frequently affects athletes (like runners and weight lifters) and people who do physical work (such as manual labor and construction). If left untreated, hernias can present life-threatening complications
