Hi, my name is Tammye Chadick-Davis. I am 58 years young. I have battled with weight my entire life. In 2011 and 2012 my sons each got married, so I knew grandchildren were in my future. Looking at the wedding pictures really opened my eyes!
How could I chase after and play with my grands at this size?
I went to a bariatric seminar and realized this was a serious, life-changing procedure. After 6 months of soul searching, I decided this was the choice for me.
In December of 2012 I had a gastric sleeve. Thanks to the CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs surgery team, I lost 93 pounds. My goal of being an active, healthy "Gran T" has been achieved. The best of my journey is just beginning!
