Farmer Feels Better than he has in Two Years Following TAVR Procedure
"Well, initially what happened, I passed out at home," said Lawrence Barsic.
Out on the farm, he'd seen something like this coming on.
"At the time I experienced a lot of shortness of breath, lack of energy, tiredness."
A battery of tests revealed that Mr. Bursic's aortic valve was calcified. This is where Dr. Aravind Rao enters the picture.Dr. Rao performed a TAVR procedure.
Lawrence is happy to be alive and feels better than he has in the last two years.
The most amazing part of this TAVR story is the recovery. Bursic's procedure was done on a Tuesday and went home Wednesday . He started working on his farm on day three.
