We are dedicated to helping each mother and child get a healthy start. Every step of the way we are there to prepare the expectant mother, her family and friends for the birth, delivery and care of the new arrival.
Anthony Childbirth Center
Our staff is dedicated to ensuring each expectant mother gets the prenatal care and education she needs to have a safe and healthy delivery. Our newly renovated Anthony Childbirth Center introduces a family-centered labor and delivery model to ensure that every child in Southwest Arkansas can get a healthy start in life. It includes 12 private birthing suites for families and a 100% labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum (LDRP) model that keeps mother and child together from admission to discharge.

- Our Pregnancy Clinic, part of our network of CHI St. Vincent Community Care, provides prenatal and obstetrical care for expectant mothers. We provide nutritional counseling, the services of a social worker and a financial counselor to help ensure every mother has a healthy pregnancy, as well as support and encouragement. Expectant mothers can enroll in Pals in Pregnancy, an educational program for pregnant women and their babies. Women participating in Pals in Pregnancy are rewarded with points that can be redeemed at our Stork Closet for diapers and wipes. The program is also offered in Spanish.
Labor, Delivery and Recovery: Hot Springs
Our private birthing suites are equipped with the latest technology and comforts to ensure the safest labor and delivery possible. We provide a homelike environment where the mother and family can stay during labor, delivery and recovery. We encourage each mother to room in with their baby and bond. Visits by the pediatrician will take place in the birthing suite.
Infant Security. We take the safety and security of the babies in our care very seriously. Our central electronic monitoring system keeps track of each infant in our care.
Premature Deliveries and Special Needs. Premature babies and emergency deliveries require specialized care that is best delivered in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). When a baby needs special care, the pediatrician will develop a family-centered treatment plan.
