CHI St. Vincent announced that Dr. Avnish Tripathi has joined the team of leading cardiologists at the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute, the largest and most diverse network of heart specialists in Arkansas. Dr. Tripathi will begin seeing patients at the Unity Health Cardiology Clinic in Searcy which focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions of the heart and vascular systems. The clinic is located at 711 Santa Fe Drive.

Dr. Tripathi completed his interventional cardiology fellowship at Mass General Hospital and Harvard University. He conducted his cardiology fellowship at the University of Louisville. Dr. Tripathi completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and previously served as assistant professor of internal medicine at the University of Kentucky Medical College in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He earned his medical degree from Government Medical College in India.
