CHI St. Vincent Launches Virtual Visits to Ensure Continuity of Care for Patients

CHI St. Vincent officially launched its new Virtual Visits program which include telehealth and telemedicine to ensure the continuity of services and compassionate care for patients in this time of social distancing and concern over access to healthcare during the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. By leveraging easy to use virtual platforms, healthcare professionals can now provide acute or chronic care management, annual wellness visits and address new or existing conditions.

“Patients now more than ever want care that is not only convenient and easy to access, but care that is also delivered in the safety of their homes,” said Dr. David Foster, president of the CHI St. Vincent Medical Group. “CHI St. Vincent can now deliver a solution that maintains the quality of our compassionate care through Virtual Visits.”

Virtual Visits at CHI St. Vincent are an extension of the same care patients are already accustomed to receiving through the hospital system’s healing ministry. They also provide the opportunity for patients to stay connected with their physician and ongoing care without requiring them to physically visit the hospital or their local clinic. Virtual Visits are now available through a patient’s primary care provider, CHI St. Vincent specialty clinics as well as the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute and CHI St. Vincent Little Rock Diagnostic Clinic.

Patients interested in scheduling a Virtual Visit simply need to contact their current healthcare provider’s office to schedule an appointment. New patients may contact any CHI St. Vincent clinic location. Learn more at: CHIStVincent.com
