CHI St. Vincent Infirmary Recognized in Reader’s Digest List of Best Heart Hospitals in Every State
CHI St. Vincent Infirmary has been identified as the top heart hospital in Arkansas in the latest Reader’s Digest list of The Best Heart Hospital in Every State. Reader’s Digest cited the infirmary’s consistent U.S. News and World Report ranking among top-performing heart hospitals since 2012 as well as earning ACE Accreditation for Cardiovascular Excellence in recognition of its state-of-the-art cath labs, an honor granted to fewer than 20 hospitals in the nation.
“When it comes to caring for the heart, good is not good enough,” said Marcia Atkinson, President of the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute. “That’s why we constantly strive to improve our patient experience, care and outcomes by implementing best practices and new technologies, ensuring that Arkansans have access to the very best cardiology resources available.”
Knowing that heart disease remains the top cause of death in Arkansas, the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute has physicians in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Hot Springs, Searcy, Conway and more than 25 community locations across the state, providing access to Arkansas’ largest and most diverse network of heart specialists. As part of an ongoing effort to raise awareness around heart disease and encourage Arkansans to undertake proactive, preventative care, the CHI St. Vincent Heart Institute also recently released a free, online heart age assessment tool called the Heart Health Profiler.
