Dr. Richard G. Pellegrino Joins the CHI St. Vincent Neurology Clinic in Hot Springs

Dr. Richard G. Pellegrino has joined the team of neurologists at the CHI St. Vincent Neurology Clinic in Hot Springs. Dr. Pellegrino is now seeing patients at the clinic located at 1 Mercy Lane, Suite 505.

“We’re honored to have Dr. Pellegrino add his extensive expertise in the field of neurology to our team at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs,” said CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs President Dr. Doug Ross. “His commitment to clinical research and leadership in the field will help us continually improve and expand our care for patients with diseases of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves and muscles.”

Dr. Pellegrino’s 30 years of experience in the field of neurology includes founding the Baptist Health Center for Clinical Research in Little Rock and serving as founding president and medical director for the Institute for Neurology and Neuroscience Research, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing the infrastructure necessary to conduct clinical research in rural settings, for which he was recognized with a Ten Outstanding Young Americans Award. He most recently served as Chief of Neurology at the Baptist Health Medical Center and before that as president and CEO of Pellegrino Center for Clinical Neuroscience in Hot Springs.

Dr. Pellegrino attended medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, New York, where he also earned a doctorate in neuroscience. He completed post-graduate training at New York Medical College, Columbia University, Pennsylvania State University and Yale University.
