Sarkar-Bob

Bob Sarkar joined CHI St. Vincent in 2015 as President of the Arkansas Health Network (AHN), a clinically integrated network created in 2012. His focus is to ensure the AHN succeeds in improving the quality of care at a lower cost, while improving the patient experience across its network.

  • Sarkar was responsible for population health management and innovative health plan development as the Senior Vice Present of Operations/Value-Based Care for Premier Health based in Dayton, OH and as the Regional VP & Chief Strategy Officer for Presence Health based in Chicago, IL. In addition, he has provided consulting and program implementation services to some of the leading healthcare providers across the country, including Kaiser Permanente, Advocate, Johns Hopkins and Aetna. Most recently, he served as the National Leader of Healthcare and Practice Vice President for Sogeti/Capgemini.
  • Sarkar earned his Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology at the University of Kentucky.
  • He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Sarkar is a member of numerous organizations, including the Healthcare Financial Management Association, Academy of Managed Care Providers, National Association of Accountable Care Organizations, Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development, and the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society.
