CHI St. Vincent North Recognized with American Heart Association Stroke Quality Achievement Award
CHI St. Vincent North, the home of the CHI St. Vincent Arkansas Neuroscience Institute, has received the American Heart Association’s Gold Plus Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Quality Achievement Award recognizing its exceptional commitment to stroke care and diabetes management.
The hospital received the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus award and three additional honor roll distinctions, highlighting its dedication to improving patient outcomes and adhering to the latest research-based guidelines for treating stroke patients.
Based on data from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2023, the awards include the Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus recognition, the Stroke Honor Roll, the Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll and the Stroke Advanced Therapy Honor Roll. These recognitions honor CHI St. Vincent North’s consistent high-level performance in providing quality care to stroke patients and those with diabetes.

The Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Gold Plus award acknowledges the hospital’s commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the most appropriate treatment according to nationally recognized, research-based guidelines. The additional honor roll recognitions highlight CHI St. Vincent North’s success in meeting specific quality achievement measures for the rapid diagnosis and treatment of stroke patients and excellence in diabetes care.

The American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® program helps hospitals improve stroke care by promoting consistent adherence to the latest scientific treatment guidelines. Hospitals receiving Gold Plus recognition have reached an aggressive goal of treating patients with 85 percent or higher compliance to core standard levels of care for two consecutive calendar years.
