As the only level II trauma center in the southwest part of the state, CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs is the regional referral center for cardiology, trauma, neurosciences, orthopedics, oncology and critical care/pulmonary issues.

Hot Springs Partners with Genesis Cancer Center to Provide Medical Oncology Services

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (Dec. 19, 2016) – CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs has partnered with Genesis Cancer Center to enhance oncology services for patients in Hot Springs and the entire region.

Starting January 1, 2017, medical services provided at the CHI St. Vincent Medical Oncology Clinic located at 1455 Higdon Ferry Road, Suite B, will be provided by Genesis Cancer Center.

Dr. Lynn Cleveland, who has been providing medical oncology services at the clinic for several years, will be officially joining the Genesis Cancer Center team. In addition to Dr. Cleveland, Genesis is proud to announce the arrival of Dr. Lingyi Chen M.D. to further expand the community oncology service line.

Dr. Chen is an Arkansas native that graduated from UAMS in 2002 and completed her fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital, Pennsylvania in 2010. She will be providing services at Hot Springs Village and 1455 Higdon Ferry Road, Suite B, with Dr. Cleveland.

Genesis Cancer Center will maintain its longstanding commitment to patient centered care, along with support and advocacy, while providing access to clinical trials and cutting edge technology. Genesis will continue to shape the future of oncology care in Arkansas providing access to services in multiple satellite offices located in Arkadelphia, Camden, Malvern, Mena, Nashville and most recently Hot Springs Village.

Work will continue with Community Oncology Alliance, Mercy Lodge and Our Promise Cancer Resources to assist in the growth of patient support and advocacy. CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs and Genesis are delighted to align their efforts to further comprehensive cancer care services in the communities we serve. l
